Nik's tenure with the Stonetown team started in November of 2020. As the VP of Technical Accounting and Reporting, Nik manages the internal and external financial reporting requirements of the company, its partners and lenders and assists with the accounting of significant transactions as well as new acquisitions and sales. Prior to joining Stonetown, Nik served as Team Lead in the Hedge Fund Services group at Northern Trust, a Chicago based financial services company. Nik started his career as an Auditor for PwC and later worked as a Senior Accountant with Stockbridge Capital Group, a private equity real estate investment company based in San Francisco. Nik has a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, a Masters in Accounting from Golden Gate University.

Michelle joined Stonetown in April of 2023, and has played a pivotal role in leading our sales initiatives by identifying sales opportunities, optimizing our sales operations, and developing the strategies that fuel the company's overall sales growth. Michelle's prior experience encompasses significant leadership roles across diverse industries, both domestically and internationally. These roles include serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales & Finance, and Director of Sales Operations before joining Stonetown. Michelle's passion for the manufactured housing industry began with her previous role as Director of Business Development for Meritus Communities, where she spent years honing her ability to drive sales growth and develop revenue-generating initiatives until the company was acquired by Yes! Communities in 2020. With her extensive background in sales, finance, and operations, Michelle continues to drive sales excellence at Stonetown Capital Group, leveraging her expertise to achieve strategic objectives and deliver value to clients and stakeholders alike.

Stewart joined Stonetown in January 2021 and assists the team with acquisitions, financings, and asset management. Prior to joining Stonetown, Stewart spent two years at Northwood Investors working on valuations, asset management, and various forms of financial analysis. Before joining Northwood Investors, he spent two years at PwC in New York City working in the Real Estate practice. Stewart earned his BS in Accounting and MS in Accounting and Information Analysis from Lehigh University.

Liz joined Stonetown in December 2018 as part of the Construction and Development Team. Liz oversees and manages all Capex and Expansion projects throughout the Oklahoma and East Houston portfolios. Liz has a diverse background in project management, distribution, operations, manufacturing, sales, procurement and customer service with companies such as TG Gruber Construction, Continental Western Corporation, and Rinker Materials. Liz has a BS in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Matt joined Stonetown in July 2013. He is responsible for the asset management of the Texas and Oklahoma portfolios and assists with infrastructure projects throughout the company. Matt joined Stonetown after 15 years at American Residential Communities (ARC), one of the country’s largest owners of manufactured housing communities. Initially at ARC, Matt performed due diligence for all acquisitions, then acted as an asset manager for properties in several markets and finally Matt was Vice President of Asset Management responsible for all capital projects, including home procurement, as well as utilities. Matt earned his BS in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Andy joined Stonetown in 2016 after working with our operating partner in the Bakken Region of North Dakota. Currently, Andy assists the team with acquisitions, dispositions and various specials projects. Additionally, he is responsible for our Colorado portfolio and oversees many facets of our corporate operations.
Prior to working on the Dakotaland portfolio, Andy co-founded the Special Assets Group at Marcus & Millichap, which advised clients throughout the country on non-performing real estate assets. In particular, Andy spent much of his time at Marcus & Millichap advising multi-family property owners and marketing their properties.
Andy earned his BS in the History of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his JD/MBA from Willamette University.

Romi joined Stonetown in July 2013 and works with Stonetown’s accounting department. Prior to Stonetown, Romi was an accountant and an executive assistant at Sage Hospitality, a national hospitality investment and management firm. During her more than five years at Sage, Romi’s accounting duties included accounts payable for the corporate office and property accounting for various hotels in Sage’s portfolio. As an executive assistant, Romi supported the chairman of the company. She earned her BA in English from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA with a specialization in Finance from Kaplan University.

Kaylen joined Stonetown in July 2019 to help lead the company’s financial planning and analysis efforts.
Prior to Stonetown, Kaylen lived in Dallas, TX and worked for InfraREIT, a publicly-traded real estate investment firm operating within the utility sector. At InfraREIT, Kaylen was responsible for the financial forecasting, plan variance analysis and scenario modeling. Kaylen began her career as a deal professional at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Transaction Services Accounting & Valuation Advisory group specializing in valuation measurement and advisory for financial reporting, tax reporting, and mergers and acquisitions.
Kaylen earned a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Accountancy focused in Valuation from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, TN and holds an active CPA License.

Max joined Stonetown in 2013 and assists the team with acquisitions, financings and asset management. In addition to transactions, Max is responsible for the asset management of Stonetown’s New Mexico portfolio, its Quality RV platform, and its greenfield manufactured housing development business in Texas.
Max began his career at Wells Fargo in Denver, Colorado where he spent three years as a Credit Analyst. Concurrently, he co-founded Cheeky Fly Fishing, a company that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of fly-fishing equipment. Max earned a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Roy Lapidus founded Stonetown in August 2010 as a new vehicle to invest in opportunistic, high-yielding real estate investments. Prior to Stonetown, Roy spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area of its Merchant Bank, most recently as a Managing Director responsible for acquisitions in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. Beginning in the RTC era, Roy has invested in distressed notes and assets, cash flowing assets, value add strategies and development transactions. He is experienced in all parts of the real estate capital structure, having invested in common equity, mezzanine and preferred equity. He is similarly experienced in many property types, including manufactured housing, hospitality, multi-family, office, industrial, retail, land, residential and medical office properties. Roy earned an AB in American History from Princeton and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Adam joined Stonetown in May 2011. Before joining Stonetown, Adam spent over six years at Amstar, a Denver based real estate private equity firm where he was a Managing Director overseeing the firm’s hospitality and Latin American investments, including sourcing, structuring, financing and asset management of those assets. Prior to his tenure at Amstar, Adam worked in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs where he was an Associate in the London office working on acquisitions, joint ventures and financings of real estate and non-performing note portfolios across Western Europe. Adam's journey in the real estate sector started with PaineWebber where Adam was an Analyst working on mergers, acquisitions, equity offerings and debt raises for REIT clients as well as real estate principal investments on behalf of the firm. Adam has a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Her practice primarily focused in private equity with an emphasis in real estate investment funds and real estate management companies. She also served multiple non-profit clients. She holds a BS in Accounting as well as a BS in Business Administration from Regis University.

With over 24 years of experience in operations and administrative leadership, Amber brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She oversees critical functions including payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and more for the entire Stonetown portfolio, which encompasses a headcount of over 300 employees across 4 organizations. Through her dedicated efforts, Amber ensures the smooth operation of human resources processes, fostering a positive and productive work environment for Stonetown and their portfolio of brands.
